The month of October is missions month in UpTown Kids! We will be studying the Eurasia Region of Nazarene Missions. Our offering for the month will be to bring items to help fill Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.
We are excited about Kids Missions month in October. The children will be studying about the Eurasia Region of Nazarene Missions International. In lieu of an offering for this month we are asking the children to bring items to help fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will put the items together to fill as many boxes as we can. We will provide flyers to the children with suggestions of items for the boxes.
Additional flyers are available at the Information Center in the foyer. Reading books will be available. There are a total of six books. They need to be checked out and returned during the morning service in the children’s sanctuary for the children to receive prizes. A prize is given for each book read. Please return the books in one to two weeks to keep them circulating. We appreciate the opportunity to teach our Parkview children about missions.
